MY FINSK WEDGES ARE HERE!! WOOHOOOOO

Yippiekaiyee! My Finsk wedges are finally here! To be honest I didn’t know whether to choose the black one or these, but I figured that I can always get the black ones when Amelie Boutique stocks them up again.

The shoes are AMAZINGLY comfortable, BUT due to the cut of the wedges, my ankle do some kinda twists now and then. I’m guessing the wooden part is not real wood as it is too light. Aside from that small problem that I would get used to, these shoes are definitely to-die-for in real life. The geometric, whimsical colourways stand out among my blacks, and despite the slightly loose opening these shoes look gorgeous with jeans.

PS: Pardon the sloppy shirt, I was way too excited about these shoes that I need to snap them THERE AND THEN. I promise to put up proper outfit pictures of them reaaaal soon (after my last paper on Monday).

The aliens have landed

While I am still waiting for the futuristic Nicholas Kirkwood’s creations for Rodarte F/W 09 to hit the stores (a rep. mentioned it’ll be in Barneys/OC in October, not sure how I’m going to get them when I’m over at the other side of the world), Spring/Summer Nicholas Kirkwood x Rodarte’s intergalactic weapons pierced our thinning ozone layer and hit the Earth with the biggest bang on the fashion runways.

To be honest, I can’t admit I am liking these killer (literally) heels straight away, but boy can these babies take my breath away.

They’re only meant for the strongest women, ones who can kill with a glance and make men quiver on their knees (kinda like the seductive women in Aliens). So please, if you’re not one of those, don’t get these because they would look quite ridiculous on you (no offense, just stating the obvious).

As to whether I am going to get it, that remains to be seen. I might end up not liking them, or I might not be tough enough for them, or the price will just be too obscenely high to even think about it (yeah what’s new).

Rain, rain go away

Today I decided to go all yellow and brown, but it seems like the weather is not agreeing much with me considering how much it still feels like winter, all grey and windy.

I bought this cute little birdie ring on Etsy a few weeks back and it’s just the cutest little thing perching on my finger. I have never been much of an accessories kind of person but it’s slowly changing as I’m buying more gargatuan rings and cuffs. None of that little dainty things for me, sorry.

Victorian Vintage

During the coldest winter days I have to resort to wearing at least 4 layers when I leave the house, especially at night.

I’m just glad that spring is finally showing itself, although I was kinda hoping to hear more of birds chirping than the howling of the wind.

My penchant for crazy shoes never stops

I would gladly stop buying ANYTHING for two months if I can get my hands on these Nicholas Kirkwood x Rodarte.

I have been searching for them EVERYWHERE to no avail. Are their fall/winter 09.10 collections out on the market yet?
