I started hyperventilating when I saw the boot. It has the Chanel-esque vibe that is not quite Chanel, yet I see myself wearing them everyday when the weather permits. So far I can safely say I’d want this boots more than any others I’ve seen on the runway (Rick who?). You’re welcome to change my opinion of course, I can never turn down the opportunity to look at more shoes.
But of course we musn’t forget Phoebe Philo’s other equally sumptuous offerings for the fall season. I say the bags are a fresh change from all the boring silhouettes I’ve been seeing all over the stores. They are quiet, understated luxury pieces that beat Bottega’s woven baskets hands down.
