So I went to the Camberwell Sunday market in this outfit today. I must say it’s the best one I’ve ever thought of from the moment I got serious with fashion, all thanks to the gothic influences of Alexander Mcqueen (the tuxedo seen in Fall 08) added with the soft drapings and heavy layerings ala Haider Ackermann.
Haider Ackermann is a genius with leather jackets and leather leggings, but unfortunately he seems to be off the radar as compared to Ann Demeulemeester and Rick Owens who have almost similar styles. Perhaps it was because Haider hasn’t made any Ít’ shoes yet.
Like any other days at the Sunday market, today was a good shopping day, and by good I meant fruitful, which also meant getting back with so much stuff that I have problems carrying them home. Although the sky poured every five minutes, and half the stall holders left early, I couldn’t be any happier because I found a genuine vintage wool Burberry cape in the most gorgeous moss green. I was about to put some shots of it online, but sadly my laptop crashed and is now in a coma.
