I just collected my leather jacket from the tailor who did a splendid job with it. The shoulders are narrower, and the sleeves are tightened. I absolutely love it! I posted a picture of the jacket before the alteration here. See the vast difference?
On another note, I got the tanker boots in the mail a few days ago. They are so lovely in the coolest way. I’m so lucky I found them. They are two sizes too big but who cares?

by Rosenrot on February 6, 2009 at 6:11 pmIf you need to alter real leather that is thick and sturdy, you need to go to this tailor at Peninsula, basement level, I think it’s #B1-24. There’s a sign that indicates he alters leather garments.
I don’t think faux leather stretches, I don’t have many of them so I’m not too sure. All I know is real leather molds over time to follow your body shape.
