As you can tell from my pictures I do not have a photographer friend/mom/sister/cat to take my pictures for me. My trusty sidekick is the tripod. And I live in a tiny room in a big dorm on the tenth floor, so I can’t drag my equipments around into the cranky old lift, get to the front lawn where everyone’s drinking (it’s almost a daily habit for these Down Under-ers) and start snapping myself. And plus that would make me so terribly late for whatever activity I am supposed to go for.
Anyway I looked like an Inuit yesterday but boy do I love the Pendleton-ish cardigan.

There’s this other designer I like too. Her name is Chrissie Morris, and I have talked about her once on this blog. She’s pretty much up there together with Raphael Young.
If you have lots of money, stop buying your Louboutins and Manolos. Give these people a chance, will ya? (But don’t snag my favourite Proenza pair please)

A new family member

I had these Miu Miu shoes in my Christmas wishlist thinking that well, it will just be a wish since they were released almost four seasons ago, which is like, a gazillion years in fashion. Who would have thought that they’d resurface more than a year later? To my delight they were available, brand new, in my size and best of all, they fit like a glove.

This isn’t my usual look, but I had an inspiration to go Victorian. That leather skirt was a vintage gem that made me stray away from the usual black/edgy ensemble. All pieces are vintage except for my tailored blouse. Can’t take better pictures since I was rushing to school. Sorry

It’s been so long since I did an outfit post. Nothing too fancy here. It’s summer so I can’t pile on the layers and this time I’m opting for comfort rather than complications. My hair’s in that awful stage where it’s neither short nor long too.
On the other hand I’ve found the best red lipstick EVER. Mac’s Russian Red, you can’t go wrong with it. It’s pure flaming red without the fancy orange/pink/blue undertone.
