My love for shoes is almost equally matched with my love for bags. Looking through all the bags at style.com is like peeking at all the gums and chocolates and candy floss from the candy store window, but just like a kid, I don’t have the money to get them all.
Burberry
Truly my favourite bag of the season. Am gonna save up for it ASAP.
Derek Lam
Derek Lam has never been quite on my radar, but there’s something about this bag that caught my attention. Might be the rich suede or the perfect shade of warm grey.
Emilio Pucci
I picked this out because of the beautiful gold chain. I can’t quite tell how big this bag is, but I hope it’s at least big enough for lipstick, compact mirror, and handphone.
Fendi
More peek-a-boos from Fendi. It’ll never go wrong.
Jimmy Choo
I can’t for the life of me believe that these are Jimmy Choos. Usually they are always cluttered with buckles and holes and straps and mess that reminds me of bags that are poorly designed by wannabes. But these are nowhere close from the usual dainty girly stuff.
Louis Vuitton
Gold prevails in Louis Vuitton’s Fall collection. I am personally loving this bag way better than the usual shopper totes with the classic monograms. Sadly most girls are just like sheep and spent their money on something that a gazillion other girls are carrying as a means to show off their status. I can’t deny that they are practical, but for that amount of money, there are better things to spend on.
Marni
Typical of Marni to always churn out playful and child-like pieces. Nevertheless, I love the black piping and pleated ribbon-like details.
Prada
This is truly a remarkable season for Prada. From the clothes to the shoes to the bags, everything is perfect. This bag looks like it was taken straight out of the 40s, big, beautiful, practical, and precious. The gold hardware complements the burgundy perfectly. I’m not sure whether the side panel is made of satin or velvet, but i do hope it’s the latter.
Ralph Lauren
Ralph Lauren has always been known to make classic pieces. This croc bag is no different. It’s nothing jaw-dropping, but it’s something that every chic women would want to have in their wardrobe.
Valentino
I’ve been pretty disappointed with Valentino’s recent collections. The two duos (can’t remember their names, sorry), seem to try to target the conservative women. Even Oscar de la Renta is making way more exciting clothes. Thank goodness for these two really awesome bags though. They’re in the right size for day-to-day use, but I doubt I’d carry bags as loud as these to school everyday. I am in love with the green colour, but I’d personally step out of the house in the crystal bags.
