It’s that time of the year again when all the designer boutiques are stocking up with the latest designer collections, in this case, the fabulous Fall/Winter 09.10. While I may not be able to afford these, or at least save up in time, the least I could do is to dream.
Yves Saint Laurent The YSL Tribute don’t usually attract my attention because there’s just so much of them around that I’m sick of their sight. But this one in blue suede is just too marvellous. The blue is so delicious that it got me scrambling to shopstyle to look for more shoes in blue suede.
Alexander Mcqueen
Ahh… Alexander Mcqueen just combined my favourite items: biker jackets and peeptoe boots. That biker collar on shoes? Simply to die for
Available at net-a-porter.com and zappos couture respectively.
Bally
I can’t believe these shoes are from Bally! The intricate heel carving, the overlapping straps, the gold details… Le sigh~~~
Available at Luisaviaroma for €1040
Dolce & Gabbana
The lovely Dolce and Gabbana boots…. Loving the ruffles and gold and black combo to death.
Avalaible at Luisaviaroma for €833
Diego Dolcini
To be honest I’ve never come across this Italian designer, but trust Luisaviaroma to pull in the best people to their stores. I can’t quite see myself wearing it, but it sure doesn’t stop me from admiring the sculptural lucite heel and lizard panels.
“Diego Dolcini, the Naples-born, Bologna-based Italian shoe designer known for eye-catching, sophisticated and downright sexy heels – gracing the feet of celebrities from Madonna and Nicole Kidman to Jennifer Lopez and Monica Bellucci, is a name familiar to all the shoe-obsessed among us. Collaborating with Bruno Magli and Emilio Pucci, and formerly acting as Creative Director for men’s and women’s shoes at Gucci, Diego Dolcini designs for his own Dolcini line, while currently collaborating on shoes for Dolce & Gabbana.“ – Biondini Paris
Available at Luisaviaroma for €666
Givenchy
Good ol’ Ricardo Tisci to come up with something I would covet. The idea of the chain at the wedge is nothing new, but I’m loving the taupe colour and texture of the leather.
Available at Luisaviaroma for €575
Alain Quilici
Alain Quilici – yet another designer that I have not heard of, but am glad to have discovered. His range of shoes exude the dark, edgy sculptural quality, much like Rick Owens. I can see myself pairing this up with the skinniest leather leggings.
Available at Luisaviaroma for €455
You should know this…
Balmain Balmain Balmain…. It’s a military double breasted cape with the signature shoulder pads. If you have €4000 to spare and you wear a large size, then you’re in luck. You’re probably the last lucky person to be able to get it through Luisaviaroma.
Available at Luisaviaroma for a freaking bucketload of moolah (or €4095)
Burberry
It’s leather, it’s huge, it’s Burberry. WANT
